PART A:

(1)  traits

(2)  behaviors

Give the author’s actual definitions. Do not put the definition into your own words, since the textbook definition will serve as the frame of reference for Part B of this essay.

PART B:

Name 3 traits that you or someone you know possesses.  Then name 3 behaviors that are associated with each of those traits. Each trait should be translated into 3 behaviors.  Remember that traits are not behaviors.    For this part, use your own examples, not those found in the textbook.

Part C:

Discuss why it is important for behavior therapists to translate traits into behaviors.
