After reading Chapters 1-3 of Conducting Online Surveys, create an 7-10-slide presentation that addresses the following:

• What are the three main purposes for conducting social research? How can an online survey serve each purpose?
• Imagine you were assigned to conduct a survey for a community mental health agency determining the need for mental health services for newly arrived refugees. (a) What sort of preliminary research would you conduct in preparation for designing the survey? (b) Whom would you contact for information and advice on your online survey questionnaire? (c) Would you recommend an online survey for this project? Why or why not?
• Write one goal and one objective for this online survey project.
