How An Organization’s CSR Engages Stakeholders

Select an international organization that has self-identified as having either a corporate social responsibility (CSR) or a sustainability strategy. In your initial post, identify the organization that you selected and address the following questions:

• What challenges is the organization facing currently that might indicate a failure to implement their chosen CSR or sustainability strategy effectively? Describe its approach and why that might be the cause of poor or reduced performance.
• Where specifically does the organization experience challenges with its CSR or sustainability strategy implementation? Examples of challenges might include issues with operations, a disconnect between the company culture and strategy or leadership, inability of leaders to communicate and lead a strategy implementation, global expansion, or ethical issues.

NOTE: You should support the challenges you identify with the research you have done on the organization.

• How does the organization’s CSR or sustainability strategy engage stakeholders? How do stakeholders contribute to the organization’s mission, or not?
• What are your recommendations for this organization? Do you think the organization should adopt a different approach to implementing its CSR or sustainability strategy? What type of leadership characteristics and culture would support your recommendations?
