Abstract
The paper looks at how a smaller regional airport deals with issues that are normally shared by a larger international airport but accomplished with a much smaller budget and employee staff. There will be some key comparisons made based around some standard issues that both airports would see on a regular basis, some of these will include, passenger security screening, surrounding aircraft noise rules and complaints, and general operational practices specifically regarding logistics of runway usage. The issue specific to the land immediately surrounding both types of airports being Native American land, and some of the challenges associated with noise and pollution.
