This paper is an autobiography focused on your reflections on the educational experiences during our time together. You will reflect on the perspectives and knowledge you had at the beginning of the semester and consider how it has or has not changed over the last 6 weeks.
Please review what you wrote back at the beginning of the semester for Reflection Paper #1, and then review all the content we have covered together since – the lectures, your class notes, your readings, our in-class activities, your assignments, the films you viewed, etc.
100 points possible: 15pts for opening + 70pts for body + 15pts for closing
Possible deductions: up to 5pts off for formatting & style errors; 5pts off per day late (up to 30pts)
Opening of paper (15 points): one full paragraph
- Opening: What was your perspective on different human sexuality issues at the beginning of the semester? Please explain what you think your initial perspective was most influenced by? (i.e., parent/guardians, peers, media, education system..etc) How has that changed?
- Thinking back on our classes together, all the activities, videos and readings, what has left the biggest impression? Pick three to four topics, activities, lectures, or readings from this course that had a significant impact on you, and demonstrate how your knowledge has grown and how your perspective has changed. Or why you think your perspective may not have changed.
- Discuss how you plan to deal with issues of human sexuality with young people in your life, and also how you plan to deal with issues of human sexuality with people who have differing perspectives from you. Close with your feelings on writing this reflection and taking this course.
